President South-South Youths Initiative Calls On Govt To Prioritize Welfare, Education Of Orphans

To all the wonderful orphans in Nigeria, I want you to know that you are seen, you are heard, and you are loved. Your lives matter, and your futures are bright. May you find joy, comfort, and support in the care of those who nurture you.

Expectations from a Responsible System of Government
A responsible government should prioritize the welfare of orphans by Collaborating with private orphanages to offer financial support, ensuring these children receive basic necessities like food, healthcare, and education.

Establishing Foster Care Frameworks, Developing systems that facilitate family-based care, allowing orphans to experience a family environment and build lasting relationships.

Ensuring Access to Education and Healthcare Providing resources for schools and healthcare facilities to cater to the unique needs of orphans, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.

Supporting Caregivers and Orphanages, Building the capacity of caregivers and orphanages through training, mentorship, and financial assistance, ensuring they can provide quality care.

Implementing policies and programs that safeguard orphans from abuse, neglect, and exploitation, ensuring their rights are respected and protected.

Let Us Work Together
By supporting orphanages, volunteering time and skills, and advocating for policies that benefit orphans, we can collectively make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children. Let us strive to create a society where every orphan has access to opportunities, love, and care.

To organizations and individuals working tirelessly to support orphans, thank you for your dedication. Your efforts are making a tangible impact, and your compassion is inspiring. Continue to shine a light of hope for these precious children
