The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice SIMEON CHIBUZOR-AMADI has directed judges of the High Court of the state to proceed on Easter vacation from Monday, 30th March, 2026 to Tuesday, 7th April, 2026.
Justice CHIBUZOR-AMADI said the normal court sitting will resume on wednesday 8th, April, 2026, saying that his directives is in pursuant to the provisions of Order 49 Rule 4 (B) Of The High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2023.
In a statement by the Chief Registrar, Rivers State High Court, DAVID IHUA-MADUENYI revealed that a judge shall be designated as vacation judge to entertain very urgent matters/applications within the period of vacation.
