As the All Progressives Congress rolls out its activities ahead of their National convention and Congresses in some State, the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has declared that, the Tony Okocha led Party Excos in Rivers State from Ward,LGA and State has a tenure that span til 2028.
For me, there is no ambiguity in what Hope Uzodinma said, it is very clear. Our governor must have been cajoled or bamboozled to cogitate that, the existing structure will be dissolved and another Congress conducted to structure his men, it is not possible especially as there is nothing to warrant such dissolution. Just because a governor decamped and the existing party officials would be dissolved? We play too much in this State oooo
Chief Tony Okocha was directed by the APC National Chairman to personally register or supervise the registration of His Excellency, Sir Sim Fubara.
In the same way, the Governor’s supporters will also go through official and formal registration through their Various LGAs and Ward Secretaries and Chairmen under the Okocha led Nationally recognized APC. How can they convince Mr President that they are now sincerely supporting him without passing through this formal process of party registration? Are their names in the various wards register? Okocha registered the governor but you don’t want the Okocha led LGA and Ward Excos to register you in your ward and yet you are claiming to support Mr President, who is fooling who?
Is President Tinubu a baby politician, to believe that merely singing “On your mandate we shall stand”with a high tune, has translated to supporting him?
