The Emohua Local Government Council Secretariat has been set on fire, escalating tensions in the ongoing local government crisis in Rivers State. The incident marks a significant development in the unrest surrounding the recent elections and the subsequent actions taken by local authorities.
Correspondent Anita ogona reports that so far out of 23 LGAs we had 9 being inflamed this morning / early afternoon with violence over the control of LGA secretariats .
