We Got AK47 Riffle From Our Oga and The Army – Suspected Fulani Kidnappers Confess

A group which identified itself as members of the Solution camp of Eastern Security Network ESN has captured two Fulani herders suspected to be responsible for kidnapping incidents within Enugwu-ukwu and Nimo communities of Anambra State.

We gathered from a viral video that the group acted on the growing spate of insecurity in the area, noting that they have launched a security operation code named Operation Cleanse the Land to counter the nefarious activities of all those involved in criminal activities, including the enforcers of sit at home orders.

During interrogation, Sule and Hassan stated that they were herding cattle for an honourable whom they don’t even know his real name. They said the honourable is an Igbo man.

Sule confessed that the kidnapping incidents along that area including that of a Rev’d Sister beaten to a pulp along the Enugwu-ukwu express link road few weeks ago was masterminded by their gang.

Speaking further, Sule stated that the AK 47 rifles being used for their criminal activities was given to them by their Oga and the Army without mentioning either the specific Oga or the Army personnel being referenced.

He also stated that they have camps in Nimo and Enugwu-ukwu as their operational bases within the area.

The ESN group who stated that the operation was carried out very late in the night however warned criminal elements and sit at home enforcers around the area to get ready as they were coming for them anywhere they are.

With this development, it is obvious that the South East security situation is getting worse by the day and there is a compelling need for the state government / security agencies to wade into the matter as a matter of priority so that people could live and travel safely around the referenced communities and the state in general.
