Nigeria Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi is dead. He died at age 49.
We gathered that Afolabi died in the early hours of Sunday May 14, 2023. His death was announced on Sunday by a fellow actor in the Yoruba subsector of the Nollywood, Tunda Ola-Yusuf.
The movie star is said to have died from injuries he sustained after falling in the bathroom. His demise was confirmed via a post on Instagram by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf, who prayed for Murphy’s soul to rest in peace. “We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi….,”.
His death is coming less than 24 hours after the death of Nollywood legend, Obinna Nwafor alias Saint Obi was announced. Sharing a picture of actor afolabi death, he wrote, May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss. Good night Murphy Afolabi” according to reports the popular actor died after a tragic fall in the bathroom inside his home which was a gift from MC Oluomo. He was said to have fallen in his bathroom and hit his head on the floor leading to his death/ The actor who was a top movie star recently celebrated his birthday on Friday May 5th 2023.
