Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, a former chairman of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), has died after a prolonged illness, bringing to an end decades of influential service to Nigerian sports.

His death, which occurred on Saturday, was confirmed by former Secretary-General of the NFA, Sani Ahmed Toro.
