In a bid to support the growth and development of young girls and boys, in ugep, yakurr local government area of cross river state, an all-female social club known as the treasure fusion ladies has distributed pads and exercise books to bother genders.
The pads were presented to the girls who participated as maidens during this year’s Ugep Leboku cultural festival while exercise books were distributed to the boys during the yepi day celebration
During the presentation, president of treasure fusion ladies Mrs kate Ubi represented by her vice president Mrs Jasi Sylvanus said the aim of the distribution is in fulfillment of the club aim and objective which ENVISION A FUTURE WHERE THE GIRL CHILD, BOY CHILD AND WOMEN ARE CHANGE MAKERS, INNOVATORS, AND LEADERS of the society.
Some members of the association who were also present at the event expressed joy that the club is impacting positively on both the girl and the boy child.
The beneficiaries who were filled with joy, hailed members of the treasure fusion ladies for the great initiative to pad them and distribute exercise books to the boys
