Catholic Diocese of Warri, Has Suspended Priest Who Ran Off To US With Lover For Secret Marriage

Catholic Diocese of Warri, has suspended Rev. Fr. Daniel Okanatotor Oghenerukevwe from the priesthood following his reported secret marriage in the United States.

According to reports, Fr Daniel had been secretly dating Ms Dora for a while until she began mounting pressure on him to either marry her or end their secret love affair.

Not wanting to lose her, Rev. Fr Daniel succumbed and secretly took off to Dallas in the US where they both got married. After the wedding, he wrote the Catholic Diocese of Warri, requesting to be released from his duties and obligations as a Priest.

His wish has been granted him, as he is now suspended and prohibited from presenting himself as a Priest of the Catholic Church.
