Rivers Commissioner Of Police Plays Host To The New Controller Of Nigeria Correctional Services

The Rivers State Police Commissioner, CP Olugbenga Adepoju psc, mnips, recently played host to the new Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Rivers State Command, Mr. Felix Madumere, today Thursday, 23rd January 2025 at the Police Command Headquarters, Moscow Road in Port Harcourt. This courtesy visit was a significant step in strengthening the working relationship between the Police Force and the Nigerian Correctional Service in the state.

During the visit, Mr. Madumere expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner of Police and his Management Team for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage. He emphasized that his visit aimed to inform the CP of his assumption of duty as the new head of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Rivers State Command, and to boost working synergy between the two agencies.

In his brief response, CP Olugbenga Adepoju thanked Mr. Madumere for the historic visit and acknowledging the significant contributions of the Nigerian Correctional Service. He noted that the visit would further solidify the existing relationship between the Police Force and the NCS, highlighting their collaborative efforts.

The visit culminated in the presentation of a plaque to Mr. Madumere by the Commissioner of Police, symbolizing the strengthened partnership between the two organizations.
