New Horizon In Rivers PMAN As Big MOZY Emerges State Chairman

The River State chapter of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has elected
legendary artist from the ‘award-winning Stone Cold, Landlord Travel And See fame,’ Comrade Moses Olusegun Mabadeje popularly known as BigMozy as substantive PMAN Governor Rivers state chapter.

The election which took place on Wednesday 29th January 2025 at the Mozy B Cafe Harbour road in Port Harcourt, witnessed impressive turnout by PMAN members across the state who have been clamouring for a change from recurring caretaker leadership to a substantive exco.

A rundown of the new officers elected includes:

1. GOVERNOR: COMRADE MOSES OLUSEGUN MABADEJE AKA BIGMOZY
2. DEPUTY GOVERNOR: COMRADE ABIYE HOWELLS AKA HOWELLS G,
3. SECRETARY: COMRADE EZEKIEL BENIBO AKA ICE TEE,
4. TREASURER: PRECIOUS AWAJIMIJANA KPEKOT AKA JANA GUITAR
5. P. R. O: OBINNA NWABUFO AKA DADDY BICES
6. PROVOST: OTTEH JOHNSON NDUBUISI AKA PA JAY,
7. WELFARE 1: EMMANUEL CHARLES AKA EMMA WHITE
8. WELFARE 2: JENNIFER OKOCHA AKA JENNY SAX.

In his remark after receiving his certificate of return, the new Rivers PMAN Governor expressed gratitude to members for finding him worthy to navigate this ship for the next four years from a caretaker chairman, to a substantive elected PMAN Governor for Rivers state. He appreciated the contributions of past leaders of the association calling for their unflinching support. He promised to carry everyone along especially younger musical talents to encourage them to harness their potential.
Mozy B who was the caretaker chairman before the election adviced all and sundry to grow above rancour and disunity and work for the progress of the association.
Mozy B promised to use his office to unite members and place the association on the path of progress.
Furthermore, he invited public-spirited individuals and corporate bodies to come and open channels of collaboration with the body, by investing in the entertainment industry, help empower gifted budding young talents, and help boost tourism in the state.
The highlight of the event was the issuance of certificates of return to the newly elected executives, followed by a swearing-in ceremony and oath of office. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries and stakeholders in the music industry including
past chairpersons like, Arthur Pepple Jnr, Lexy M, Stonecold, Lady IB and a host of others. There were live performance by different artists, in glitz and glamour showcasing a new dawn in Rivers PMAN.
