Netizens React As Post Corp Member Stands At Oshodi Bridge To Beg For Job Opportunity

A Nigerian corps member has taken to the pedestrian bridge in Oshodi, Lagos, holding a placard to beg for a job after months of joblessness following his graduation and completion of NYSC.

The emotional scene was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @fw_cas, who posted a photo of the young man alongside a message urging Nigerians to support unemployed graduates.
According to @fw_cas, he encountered the corps member while using the Oshodi bridge.

He wrote: “Met this corper on Oshodi Bridge today, crying out after NYSC with no job. Let’s stand together for #JusticeForNigeriaGraduates! Help a graduate—share their story! #SupportOurYouth.”

The placard held by the corps member read: “If school isn’t a scam, after months of finishing service (NYSC), I haven’t gotten a job.”

As the post gained traction online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to express sympathy, frustration, and solidarity, with many calling for urgent reforms in Nigeria’s education-to-employment system.
