‘No More Corruption In Nigeria Since I Took Over’ – Tinubu Tells Brazilian President

President Bola Tinubu has told the Brazilian President, Luiz Silva, that Nigerian economy is recovering and everything is moving well ever since he took over as the President.

Tinubu made the statement during a state visit over the weekend in Brazil. He said, before he took over, Nigeria economy was drifting to recession but his administration has done excellently well to rescue the country.

“Since I took over in Nigeria, it is has been very impactful, I can beat my chest for that, It was initially painful, but today the results is blossoming.”

“It is getting clearer to the people… We have more to the economy, no more corruption, the speculators are out of our currency market, the door is open for businesses,” Mr. Tinubu said in a 54 seconds .

Meanwhile, according to Transparency International’s 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), Nigeria ranked 140 out of 180 corrupt countries in the world ‘
