Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has broken her silence on the rumours surrounding her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill, dismissing reports that she unfollowed him on Instagram.
The actress described the claims as false, stressing that she is happy in her marriage and has no reason to unfollow her husband, whom she said she has followed on the platform since 2017. She also questioned how the rumour started, especially at a time when Churchill was celebrating a reunion with his son, King Andre, with his ex-wife, actress Tonto Dikeh.
Rosy, who is currently in Cancun, Mexico, celebrating her birthday, explained that Churchill remained in Lagos to mark his son’s birthday with Tonto. She said she deliberately gave him the space to spend time with his child, noting that he had not seen the boy for a long time.
According to her, she is glad that Churchill’s children are getting the opportunity to bond with their father, adding that such moments are important for them.
Enough is enough! It’s time I control my own narrative. It’s my life, my story and no one but me is allowed to tell it,” she wrote while addressing the speculation.
Her statement comes amid heightened online discussions about Churchill’s relationship with both women following the viral family photos shared for King Andre’s birthday.
