A local wooden boat carrying goods caught fire on the Ramos River in Agge Community, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State.
The incident happened while the boat was moving along the river. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started suddenly, causing panic in the area.
Residents were seen at the scene assisting to offload the goods from the boat in an effort to save what they could before the fire spread further.
