Anambra Assembly Passes 2025 Appropriation Bill of N607 Billion

The budget projected and estimated recurrent N139.5 billion, representing 23 per cent, while N407.5 billion, representing 77 per cent, would be for capital expenditure.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into Law.

The bill was signed the into Law by Gov. Soludo at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia on Monday.

Performing the function, Governor Soludo expressed optimism that the budget will catalyze change in the state in the coming year.

Recall that the budget size is N606,991,849,118 for the fiscal year 2025.

While recurrent expenditures account for N139.5 billion: capital expenditure is N467.5 billion
The Capital expenditure constitutes 77% of the total budget size, while the recurrent expenditure accounts for 23%.
