As They Paid You to Vote – “Hope the Money’s Still There?” – Bishop Oyedepo Slams APC Leadership in Fiery Church Sermon

During a powerful Sunday service, Bishop David Oyedepo didn’t hold back as he addressed the issues of political deceit and voter manipulation in Nigeria:

“The money they handed you to vote for them in the last election, I hope it’s still in your pocket? Because I doubt anyone in this church will be tricked again. Today they have a Muslim-Muslim ticket, who knows what the next one will be—a Fulani-Fulani ticket?”

Known for his fearless stance against the powerful, Oyedepo is once again challenging Nigeria’s political elite, no matter who’s in charge—just like he did during the Jonathan and Buhari administrations.

On the flip side, social commentator Okwy Chris remarked:

“Pastor Oyedepo has spoken truth to power with GEJ, with Buhari, and now with Tinubu. Meanwhile, Pastor Adeboye from RCCG seems to be content sipping tea with God, praying for the Naira to rise. Adeboye represents what happens when a General Overseer prioritizes a regional camp over God’s altar.”
