DMGS Centenary 7 Storey Building Still Under Construction Collapse In Onitsha

The on-going DMGS Massive 7 Storey centenary building under construction has collapsed with yet to be ascertained number of casualty identified as at press time

We gathered that building collapsed on Tuesday at midnight

Recall that a Twitter handle (now X) as seen below has previously raised concerns about the strength of the building from his observation.

Reacting to the development, the director of the centenary project, Dr Chiji Orji has issued a statement wherein he explained that the cause of the collapse is yet to be identified while stating that there might be casualties but not yet ascertained as the school is on midterm break

The building is a major project being executed by the school in preparation for 100 Anniversary of the institution slated for November next year.
