The Force PPRO had earlier noted that police did not shoot at journalist if they knew they were Journalist in an earlier statement SP Josephine said the –
I find it necessary to state that the police would never shoot at journalists. For what reason? Those covering us know how much we value our relationship with them. The CP FCT specifically ordered that journalists be protected during the ongoing protest. There is no way we would single them out and start attacking them.
