Focus On Good Governance: Igbo bu Igbo Southeast Forum Cautions Deputy Speaker Kalu On Recent Outburst Against Abia State Governor Otti

The National Leader of Igbo bu Igbo Southeast forum led by chief Uzozie Henry obiajulu who is also the director of Henry Marshall foundation along with elders in Council has described as unfortunate Comments by deputy speaker Okezie Kalu at this critical time. In the history of Abia state good governance.

The Deputy Speaker in an interview on Sunday said “I Can’t Be No.6 Citizen And Allow Labour Party Win Abia Again”..Kalu

Chief Uzozie Henry while speaking to some  Journalist after a meeting at the capital Awka in Anambra state , said southeast in general assumed that he Kalu should knows the importance of good governance, but his outburst clearly shows that he is an enemy to Abia State.

“I can’t imagine a Governor voted by the masses and who is delivering Abia State from the darkness previous administrations have plunged the state and delivering good Governance to the people, that, the Deputy Speaker for House of Representatives who is supposed to be applauding the Governor for all the good things he has been doing across Abia State including the Deputy Speaker’s village,  deemed it fit to say that APC Governor will take over Abia State in 2027”

Chief Uzozie further addressing  Kalu said ,  Let it be clear to him now, that his position as Deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives was as a result of the votes of Abia people..not his single vote. He was voted there in anticipation of the return of dividends of democracy to Abia people. The people voted for him and not for APC..The people gave him Kalu their support and not  APC.
And he should also know that Abia people are wiser now and will continue to support Good Governance and not Party..

They also supported Mr President Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR and not APC.. because they know he will deliver on Good Governance… which he is doing right now.
So, saying that APC Governor will take over Abia State come 2027 is not for him to decide because even his own seat at the House of Representatives may be vacant as at that time.. His 2027 ticket remains in the hands of the people because power belongs to the people.
Chief Uzozie also disclosed that Governor Alex Otti of Abia State is doing well and the people of Abia State are happy with the progress he is making in transforming Abia State since assumption of office on May 29, 2023 as the Executive Governor of the state.

Rt Hon Okezie kalu claiming to be the No.6 person in the country has nothing to do with the decision of the people of Abia State come 2027 because it’s the good people of Abia state that will decide his fate… not even his singular vote.

Chief Uzozie, urged deputy speaker Okezie Benjamin Kalu to readdress his statement and focus more on working together with governor Alex Otti of Abia state, supporting the development and infrastructures of projects in Abia state and southeast in general, For the purpose of good governance, Irrespective of political party differences.

Igbo bu Igbo Southeast does not support any political party but support good governance.
