Former Chief of Army Staff, Minimah Congratulates Gov Fubara On The Successful Local Govt Elections

A former Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Army, Lt Gen Kenneth Minimah (rtd) CFR, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GRRS, on the successful conduct of the Rivers State Local Government elections.

General Minimah commended the governor for his firmness in ensuring that the elections were held. He noted that the just-concluded local government election was a significant milestone for the state and Governor Sim’s “Rivers State First” administration.

Indeed the governor has driven the state into a new driveway. The General further urged the governor to stay resolute in steering the state to greater development.

The former Army Chief also congratulated the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), political parties, and all candidates who participated in the elections for the peaceful conduct of the election.
