Ijaw Youths, under the umbrella of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), have taken to the East-West Road (Mbiama Axis) in a peaceful protest to express their dissatisfaction over recent political developments in Rivers State.
The demonstration is in response to comments made by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, which the protesters describe as insulting to the Ijaw Nation.
Additionally, the protesters are voicing concerns over what they perceive as President Bola Tinubu’s support for the FCT Minister in the ongoing political crisis and impeachment process in Rivers State
