Lagos State Govt Discovers 86 Rooms Under Dolphin Estate Bridge, Where Tenants Pay N250,000 Annual Rent

Lagos State Govt has discovered 86 rooms under the Dolphin Estate bridge where tenants pay N250,000 annually.

The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Wednesday took to his X account, sharing videos from the apartments built under the bridge, saying it was partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10 sizes.

Tenants are said to be paying N250,000 per annum for the makeshift apartments under the bridge.

In the viral video, the enforcement team of the Lagos State’s Ministry of Environment and Water Resources were seen removing all structures, including a container utilized for various illegal activities

It was confirmed that 18 persons were arrested at the illegal apartment by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps

A total number of 86 rooms, partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10, and a container used for different illegal activities were discovered under the Dolphine Estate bridge. They have all been removed by the enforcement team of Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources
