Man Divorces Wife For Attending APC Meeting Despite Hardship

Kano man who identified himself as Lawal Abdulkadir has reportedly ended his marriage with his wife Zainab Ismail Tofa after she publicly showed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a letter written by the distraught man and shared on social media, Mr. Abdulkadir wondered why his wife will be associating with the APC amidst the ongoing hardship in the country.

He Wrote “I” Lawal Abdulkadir has ended my marriage with my wife Zainab Ismail Tofa for attending APC meeting. I have divorced her three times and nothing will make me to forgive her,”  the letter written in Hausa language said.Since the inception of the APC government in Nigeria in 2015, the country has witnessed an unprecedented suffering with the economy nosediving, record inflation figure and collapse of the Naira.

The situation has been made worse by the removal of the fuel and electricity subsidies and floating of the Naira.
