Medical Plane Crash In A Residential Building, Kills Six, Injured Two Persons

A medical light aircraft crashed into a residential block near Nairobi, killing six people and seriously injuring two, a local official said Thursday.

The plane departed from Nairobi’s Wilson airport at 2:17 pm local time and headed for Somaliland when it slammed into Ruiru, Kiambu County, shortly after 3:00 pm.

“We have lost four people, including the pilot… it was all fatal,” said Kiambu County commissioner Henry Wafula. He added that the crash also killed two people on the ground and seriously injured two others.
