Money Sharing Is Behind Wike, Fubara’s Fight -Former Minister Amaechi Reveals

Former minister of works, Mr. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, has revealed that the face-off between Siminalayi Fubara, the suspended governor of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is about money sharing.

Chief Amaechi, who was a former governor of the state, said this during an interview with DW on Saturday.

He also said that the emergency rule declared by President Bola Tinubu in the oil rich state was unconstitutional.Amaechi said, “The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel. Nigerians don’t dislike corruption again. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is about.”
