NLC President Joe Ajaero Leaves Police Facility After 35 Minutes Of Writing Statement

President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, on Thursday morning  29th August, honoured Police invitation over alleged terrorism financing, treason and other charges.

Ajaero arrived at the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) office at Old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja, in the company of renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN).

They arrived at the Police facility around 10:20 am. and left the headquarters of the Intelligence Response Team in Abuja 11.15am after writing his statement.

Though, he did not speak to newsmen at the IRT headquarters.He was accompanied by his lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), and human rights activist Deji Adeyanju.

Recall that the police had last week invited Ajaero to the IRT headquarters on August 20 by 10 am to answer questions on his alleged involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.

Already, NLC has directed members to embark on a nationwide solidarity march on Thursday
