REBUTTAL AGAINST RUMOURS OF DEATH OF OUR MONARCH, THE AMANYANABO OF OPOBO KINGDOM, HIS MAJESTY, KING (DR) DANDESON DOUGLAS JAJA, JEKI V, CFR, DSSRS, JP.
We feel compelled to address the unfortunate, unfounded and wicked rumours circulating on social media regarding the alleged death of our Monarch, the Amanyanabo of Opobo Kingdom, His Majesty, King [Dr] Dandeson Douglas Jaja, Jeki V, CFR, DSSRS, JP. It is disheartening to see such misinformation spread without any basis in reality.
As the authority who should of course know, we clearly and unequivocally state that there is no truth in these reports and rumours and should therefore, be disregarded by all well-meaning people across the world.
It is essential to verify claims before sharing them. Spreading false information can have significant emotional impacts on individuals and their families. It can lead to unnecessary panic, distress and confusion. We call for respect for our Monarch and emphasize that this senseless and demonic act is the handiwork of unscrupulous elements who are only expressing their devilish wishes.
Let us exercise caution before jumping to conclusions. We must be vigilant in ensuring that the information we share is accurate and respectful. We therefore demand that all persons in and outside Opobo Kingdom should immediately stop the spread of these malicious reports and rumours.
