Reactions As Wike Orders FCT Permanent Secretaries To ‘bow’ Before Tinubu

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Nyesom Wike caused a little ‘drama’ yesterday during the commissioning of the Arterial Road N20 Expressway in Abuja.

The Former Governor of Rivers State sparked mixed reaction from the crowd when he ordered Permanent Secretaries to ‘bow’ before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in appreciation for their appointments.

In a video shared by TVC, Tinubu expressed his satisfaction with Wike’s dedication, innovative thinking, and effective reforms that have benefited the country. He said Wike’s commitment to his job has led to the creation of numerous opportunities and improvements in FCT. He highlighted how Wike exceeded expectations and delivered results that positively impacted people’s lives.

In Tinubu’s words: “They thought you Wike will not perform, I heard that from several quarters, I made my choice and you didn’t let me and the country down. You worked day and night creatively thinking and doing. The reforms he recommended was accepted by me and people are benefitting. The job you are creating during these activities is extremely encouraging”.
