A man simply identified as Jeremiah was Friday, May 22,2026 severely tortured and banished by Suspected members of different gang after he was allegedly caught defiling a fifteen year old boy, a sachet water seller at Bishop Okoye street Market,Mile 3 Diobu,PortHarcourt, Rivers State. learnt.
Source at the market informed revelationagents.com reporter that the incident occurred at about 4:50pm when the said Jeremiah who does grinding business in the market abducted the fifteen year old boy and took him to the last floor of an upstairs in Bishop Okoye Street which was vacant.
The source revealed that a trader at the market saw Mr Jeremiah while he was perpetrating the act and discreetly informed some persons who came and witnessed it before the suspect was apprehended.
Dependable sources informed revelationagents.com that Mr Jeremiah was tortured with machete by gang members in the area which resulted to severe body injuries after which his grinding machine was confiscated and auctioned.
We gathered that the gang members also banished Jeremiah from the market and warned him not to come close to the area for any reason.
Intelligence available to indicates that Mr Jeremiah was not handed over to the Police as the gang members felt satisfy with the level of punishment given to the suspect.
