Rivers state all progressive APC stalwart, JOE KORKAH WADAAH has again said that the party’s governorship candidate for next month election pastor TONYE COLE remains the best candidate for the position.
The Canada based political management consultant and prominent diaspora voice of rivers APC this while answering questions from callers during his appearance on Silverbird news and current affairs program TALK OF THE TWON on Monday also said the exit of some members of the party in 2022 will not affect the performance of the party in the forthcoming general elections
JOE KORKA-WAADAH said though the party was not happy that some of them left, he explained that their exit had nothing to do with the choice of TONYE COLE as the party’s flagbearer.
On the allegation that TONY COLE connived with the former minister of transportation CHIBUIKE AMAECHI to sell off some River’s asset when Amaechi served as governor, JOE WADAAH said though the matter is before the court, he however challenged the governor NYESOM WIKE led PDP government to provide evidence of investigation on the fresh criminal suit filed against them.
The Ogoni born rivers indigene said the people of the state would not buy into the allegation meant to discredit former governor CHIBUIKE AMAECHi and pastor TONYE COLE ahead of the election.
He emphasized that TONY COLE as an entrepreneur, with businesses scattered across the country and beyond, would make a better governor if elected come 11th march, 2023.
JOE KORKA further assured that the APC governorship candidate will not renege on his promise to create jobs, improve the economy of the state , ensure the protection of live and property , provide social amenities as well as give attention to key sectors like health and education .
