RESOLUTIONS ARRIVED AT OVER THE CRISIS ROCKING THE RIVERS STATE CHAPTER OF THE SPORTS WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (SWAN),RIVERS STATE CHAPTER TODAY ,FRIDAY- JUNE 6,2025, AS FOLLOWS….
At a meeting of Members of the Rivers State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN),presided over by the Chairman of the Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),Comrade Paul Bazia-Nsaneh, supported by the Council Secretary,Dr.Ijeoma Tubosia,it was resolved that..
1.Mr.Cyril Dum Wite remains the chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of SWAN.
2.All members of SWAN,are hereby allowed to attend all meetings and activities of SWAN ,under the leadership of Cyril Dum Wite.
3.Attendance for the next election of SWAN Rivers in 2027 shall start from the next Congress of Rivers SWAN that is the way forward.
4.That every member will henceforth be on the same WHAT’SAPP Platform.
4.Members of SWAN Rivers unanimously express deep gratitude to the leadership of the NUJ, Rivers State Council,with Comrade Bazia-Nsaneh as chairman, and Bro.Kalu Mbah for their bold initiatives to bring peace and harmony into SWAN Rivers.
6). Very special appreciation goes to Mr.Kalu Mbah for his dogged efforts and determination to ensure the revival of the long-lost brotherhood and reunion in RIVERS SWAN.
