CP Adepoju further enjoined eligible voters to come out and vote for candidates of their choice as their safety and security is assured.
On his part,Chairman of RSIEC,Michael Odey said the commission started with plans which was integrated into time table of events and timeline and the agency is at the implementation stage.
“Without security, elections cannot hold.Voters cannot come out and vote” the RSIEC chief said.
He explained that the commission took assessment of terrian of LGAs in course of preparation for the election taking into consideration riverine and upland terrain.
The RSIEC Boss disclosed that movement of non sensitve materials started leaving commission to LGAs on Thursday while on Friday sensitive materials will go to LGAs accompanied by security agencies.
He emphasized that ADHOC staff were adequately trained and the commission is poised to deliver free,fair,credible and transparent elections on Saturday while reiterating the restriction of movement
between hours of 12am to 6pm Saturday 30th August 2025.
