Rivers State Assembly Led By Speaker Jumbo, Screens, Confirms Chairmen, Members Of Reconstituted Board Bureau Of Public Procurement

The Rivers State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed the Chairman and members of the reconstituted Board of Rivers State Bureau of Public Procurement.

The screening and confirmation of the eight member Board on the floor of the Hallowed Chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Auditorium , Administrative Block, Rivers State Government House on Friday, followed the nomination of the members to the Assembly by the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara which the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Victor Oko-Jumbo read out to members during plenary.

The House unanimously adopted the screening report and confirmed the nominees after going through the rigour on how they intend to carryout their assignment in the Bureau.

The new board that will soon be sworn in by the Governor following their successful screening and confirmation by the Rivers State House of Assembly are; Barr, Lawrence Oko-Jaja, SAN, Chairman, while Dr. Ernest Ibekwe Ekwe, Dr. Mrs Mina Ogbanga, Engr. Iseleye Amachree, Engr. Adokiye Oyagiri, Engr. Gift Alex-Hart, Mrs Grace Osaronu and Barr. Selinah Amonieah are to serve as members of the new Board.
