A male suspect whose identity is is under wrap has been taken into custody by the Rivers Police Command for questioning over the death of a male client who came to patronize commercial sex workers in a popular brothel along Azikiwe street Mile 2 Diobu, PortHarcourt.
Sources say the male suspect was alleged to have fought with the deceased client over an argument while they were both in the brothel on Sunday night, November 11,2025 minutes before the male client died.
Other sources disclosed that the male client collapsed while he was at the sanitary lane of the brothel and was later confirmed dead in the hospital.
We cannot Independently verify what led to the death of the male client.
The Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command in response to enquiry by our reporter confirmed that the command is in receipt of report of the death of the man and the case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID PortHarcourt for discreet investigation.
