Tension Fizzles Out As UNIZIK Gets First Female Vice-Chancellor, Replaces Prof Ikechebelu

After a stormy session the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, UNIZIK has appointed an acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Carol-Arinze Umobi.

Prof. Chinyelugo Carol Arinze-umobi is a PROFESSOR in HUMAN RIGHTS LAW Department, Faculty Of Law in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and former DVC admin in the institution.

You’d recall that there was Tension in UNIZIK over VC tussle as massive security overrun campus.

This means, Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu would hand over to the new Acting VC until the council is ready for proper elections within the next 6 months.
