It is reported that president Tinubu commanded that an automatic ticket be given to Gov Ademola Adeleke as the APC governorship candidate for the 2026 election.
This is ahead of the concluded plans for Gov Adeleke to defect to the APC.
President Tinubu has reportedly ordered all governorship Aspirants in the APC in Osun State to bury their ambitions This has caused turmoil in the Party in the State as some Youths have protested against the plot and undemocratic directive. But the National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Bashiru says the Osun State chapter of the party will abide by President Tinubu’s preference for Governorship Candidate in the State.
