Universities InterCult War Looms As Suspected Student Cultists From 2 Institution In Rivers State Engages In Free For All Fights

Cult war is looming in two Universities in Rivers state following battle for supremacy and territorial control between suspected Black Axe and Vikings cult members within the last five days revelationagents.com has learnt.

According to Revelation agent, one person was left unconscious after receiving several machete cuts at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education,Iwofe,Rumuolumeni,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state last Monday 12th August,2024 by suspected rival cult members during

the Students’ Week Jean carnival at the campus.

There were speculations on Tuesday night(August 13th,August,2024 that the victim may have died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Ngozi Okiridu in reaction to the incident in a radio station said no life was lost because the security operatives stopped the free-for-all fights, though some of the so-called fighters only sustained injuries.

The University Image Maker disclosed that the security operatives were members of the ONELGA Security and Protection Advisory Council, OSPAC, who had provided adequate security cover beforehand to prevent expected fights during the Students Week.

Revelation Agents further learnt that the incident at Ignatius Ajuru University last Monday may be a spill over of the clash between the suspected Black Axe and Vikings cult members at another University in the Rivers state last week Friday.

Dependable sources informed Revelation Agents that one of the Police tactical units in Rivers state is presently investigating some persons in the University the cuit clash erupted last week Friday following complaints by the institution’s Management.

A source very familiar with the workings of the cult groups revealed that members have started providing protection around their leaders in some of the higher institutions in the state after last Monday incident.

The source suggested that the Universities in conjunction with the Police should beef up security on campus to curtail the looming cult war.

The Rivers State Police Command was yet to react to the incidents as at press time.
