Video: Labour Party Chairmanship Candidate For Emohua LGA Raise Alarm Over RSIEC Irregularities, Alleged Result Sheets Was Not Provided

I, Honorable Miller Ngozichika, Chairman Candidate of the Labor Party, address you today with grave concern and a deep sense of responsibility. The recent election process in our beloved local government area has been marred by alarming irregularities, which undermine the very foundation of our democracy.

Credible information reached me that no free and fair election took place in all 14 wards. Instead, as at 11PM yesterday, electoral materials were allegedly diverted to Prince Charles Beke in his hometown, Elibrada, Emohua.

This morning, I witnessed the arrival of Risiec Adhoc staff members with ballot boxes and papers at Emohua. Upon inquiry, a female Risiec officer revealed that all result sheets had been entrusted to Prince Charles Beke. This startling admission raises serious questions about the integrity of the electoral process.

Furthermore, I have evidence that the Adhoc staff deployed from Emohua are predominantly card-carrying members of the APP. This blatant disregard for democratic norms is unacceptable.

I possess conclusive evidence, including video recordings, to substantiate these claims. The Governor’s promise of free, fair, and transparent elections has been brazenly contravened.

In light of these developments, I urge the electoral authorities to:

1. Conduct a thorough investigation into these irregularities.
2. Cancel the compromised election.
3. Ensure a fresh, credible, and transparent electoral process.

We, the people of Emohua, deserve nothing less. Our democratic rights must be safeguarded.

I call upon all stakeholders, including political parties, civil society organizations, and community leaders, to join me in demanding accountability and electoral integrity.

Together, we can restore the sanctity of our democratic process.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Honorable Miller Ngozichika
Chairman Candidate, Labor Party
Emohua Local Government Area.
