Women Of Egbema Ozubulu In Anambra Banishes Man Accused Of R@ping Married Woman

Women from the Anambra State community of Egbema Ozubulu have banished a man accused of allegedly r@ping a married woman.

Eyewitness accounts say the women chased the man out of the community while singing “onye ohi otu,” a local chant loosely translated as “v@gina thief.” During the incident, the women were seen holding up leaves, a traditional symbol used in communal sanctions, as they escorted him away.

The man was reportedly forced to leave the community without taking any of his belongings. The action reflects a customary form of communal punishment often used by women’s groups to publicly shame and expel individuals accused of serious misconduct.
