Youth Organisations Condemn Tony Okocha’s Stance on Rivers State Crisis

We strongly condemn the actions and statements of Tony Okocha, the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Board in Rivers State and factional APC Chairman. His refusal to support peace initiatives in Rivers State due to personal benefits from the ongoing political crisis is unacceptable.

Let’s not forget that Mr Tony Okocha became the state reps of NDDC in Rivers state because of the political crisis in the state
And he is also the factional chairman of apc in Rivers state just to make Rivers State unbearable for the suspended governor of Rivers State and to continue hitting the polity Mr Tony Okocha worries is that if the peace Initiative is successful he may loose the current position he is holding at the moment because his political nuisance may not be a thing of interest again..

Mr. Okocha’s prioritization of personal gain over the welfare of Rivers State citizens is shameful
His actions hinder efforts to resolve the crisis, perpetuating instability and suffering for innocent citizens.
As a public figure, Mr. Okocha’s behavior undermines trust in leadership and institutions

Signed,
Comrade Imeabe Saviour Oscar National President South-South Youths Initiative
