20-Foot Container Falls Off At Oil-Mill Junction, Causing Heavy Gridlock On PH- Aba Expressway

A 20-foot container has fallen off a lowbed truck at Oil-Mill Junction, obstructing one lane of the ever-busy Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway.

Gist Reports confirms that the incident, which occurred earlier today, has caused significant traffic congestion, especially for motorists heading towards Eleme Junction, Oyigbo and surrounding areas.

As of the time of filing this report, neither the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) nor any other emergency response agency had arrived at the scene to manage the situation or clear the obstruction. Meanwhile, traders and pedestrians were seen maneuvering around the fallen container, with roadside stalls narrowly missed by the collapse.

Commuters are strongly advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays.
