Police Debunks Stories Of Alleged Lifeless Bodies Of 7 Girls Dumped On A Median Along Iwofe Road

residents in Iwofe  area in port harcourt yesterday raised alarm over alleged discovery of Human parts in 7 different bags dumped at a receptacle on median along iwofe road.

Some of the residents who spoke on Nigeria Info news said they suspected that the bags are filled with lifeless bodies of girls because of the stench and urged the Rivers state waste management agency to urgently remove the waste as the odour was beginning to affect their health

Their cry attracted members of the Health inspectors, Rivers Waste management who mobilized to the area to quickly clear the pile of sacks to determine the content of the bag for further action

Clarifying further the sole administrator of Rivers State Waste management Agency, RIWAMA   Prince Ohia said the bags were discovered to contain  Poultry waste and not lifeless bodies as rumoured

When contacted the rivers state police public relations Officer, Grace Iringe-koko said the “The story is false and misleading, I just confirmed from the Dpo and she said nothing of such happened in her area of jurisdiction, what was contained in the bags where poultry feeds meanwhile the Rivers State waste management has already debunked it”
