NAFDAC urges consumers to be vigilant and to purchase condoms only from reputable sources, ensuring the product packaging displays the NAFDAC registration number. The agency has also called on retailers and healthcare providers to refrain from selling any unregistered or unverified brands.

NAFDAC is actively investigating the sources of these counterfeit products and is working with law enforcement to curb their distribution. The agency encourages anyone who encounters suspicious products to report them to local health authorities, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation in protecting health and safety.
