Gov. Adeleke Of Osun State Pardons Youth Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Stealing Fowl

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State invokes power being conferred on him by Section 212 of Nigeria 1999 Constitution (as amended) as he extends mercy to Segun Olowookere that was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging by Osun State High Court, Ikirun in year 2014 for stealing fowl and eggs at a Poultry Farm in Oyan, Odo-otin LGA. Orders Ministry of Justice to perfect the documents for his release from Prison.

Segun Olowookere, upon his conviction in year 2014 was moved by Prison Authority from Ilesha Prison to Kirikiri Maximum Prison Custody in Lagos. Segun is currently on the death row wing of prison facility.
