Spar Supermarket Will Now Charge #150 For Nylon Bag, Over Govt Ban

Popular retail chain Spar has announced that, starting February 1, 2025, customers will be c to charged ₦150 per nylon bag due to new government regulations banning the use of plastic bags.

In a notice to customers, Spar stated that January 31, 2025, would be the last day nylon bags would be provided for free. The retailer urged shoppers to prepare for the change and thanked them for their understanding.
