Northern Youth Forum Honours Eze Gbakagbaka For Contribution In Peace, Nation Building

The Coalition of Northern Youths Forum ( CONYF), has explained that the honour done on The Eze Oha Evo III of Evo Kingdom Nyerisi Eli Woji (Eze Woji XII) Hm Majesty KING Leslie N Eke (JP) Eze Gbakagbaka as Distinguished Patron with the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Platinum award was for his continuous support for peace and nation building.

The President of the Association, Amb. Danladi Illiya , said they have over time followed up on the Monarch on his effort and push for harmonious living across the Niger, thus the award.
Illiya made this known to the Press shortly after the event in Abuja yesterday.
He noted that the idea of honoring the Ikwerre Monarch and the President of the Association of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (AOCTRON ) was convinced at its 14th Congress Meeting in Kaduna state which he attended alongside the Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa and Secretary to the Federation, Senator George Akume.
The group also said that the Eze Gbakagbaka’s contribution to peace building and national unity has so far remained unchallenged.
“The is conceived by us as a befitting gesture for those individuals and personalities whose lives styles have positively impacted on the people “, he said.
According to him, the Monarch has so far through philanthropism and goodwill reached out to the several people irespective of their background.
The Northern Youth leader, further explained that the gesture was do encourage the Evo apex KING and as well spur him to more actions.
He also pleaded with the Monarch not to relent in using his position as a vehicle to reaching out to the people especially the youths with the 2027 general elections at the corner.
Meanwhile, the Eze Gbakagbaka, who also is the Chairman, Supreme Council of Ikwerre Government Recognized Traditional Rulers, expressed gratitude over the recognition and assured of his support in the move to making the country great again.
He also urged the people to learn how to be intentional in supporting good and noble ideas of the government and people of Nigeria and added that without such they expected new dawn may still be far from the people.
