AkwaIbom Commissioner Of Police Waheed Ayilara Dies Few Hours After Cancer Surgery In Lagos

he Commissioner of Police in Awka Ibom, Waheed Ayilara is dead.

Ayilara died in the early of Thursday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.

Sources close to the family who spoke with The Nation said he underwent a prostate cancer surgery on Wednesday before he died hours later.

”We are very sad to inform you that our friend, brother and family, the Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara is dead,” the family member said
