Are you not surprised that no former American president or vice president is attending this inauguration? Even the current secretary of states is not attending this inauguration.

USA just selected low-level USA officials to attend the inauguration of the president of Africa’s most populous country. That is a dignified insult on Nigerian since the people refused to give themselves respect by attempting to smuggle in a drug dealer as their leader.

Can we say that most of them doesn’t want to attend the inauguration of a person whom at a time in his life forfeited $460,000 to USA because court ordered for the seizure of the money because the money was termed as proceeds from Narcotics ?

To those criticizing USA for readying their delegations for Tinubu’s inauguration, please calm down. America and other countries of the world believes that Tinubu is the elected president unless a Nigerian law court upturns his purported victory at the poll and declared another person the winner. Once that is done, USA will switch allegiance to that new person.

But for now, USA is playing according to the rules and recognized international protocols but in a way to show Nigeria that it belittling itself by ever contemplating having a drug dealer anywhere near the corridors of power.

So don’t blame them.
If another person emerges through the court ruling as the next Nigerian president, USA will still send their delegations during the inauguration of that new president.

So let’s be calming down and only ask USA why they are not sending high profile USA officials to Tinubu’s inauguration.

Maybe they decided to send their TEAM C for inauguration and reserved their TEAM A for the inauguration of the authentic Nigerian president whom will emerge through the court rulings.
