There was mild jubilations last night as 23-year-old model, Chidimma Adetshina , who was forced to withdraw from the South African beauty pageant, Miss Universe South Africa, has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
Adetshina, who represented Taraba State, is a law student who withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 due to xenophobic backlash over her nationality.Adetshinaโs win in the keenly contested competition was revealed in a post on X by Africa Fact Zone on Saturday night.
